Cloister

The Baroque cloister of the former Minorite monastery was only revealed after the residential buildings of the 19th and 20th centuries had been removed. The exposed structures are proof of the monastery’s heyday in the 17th century.

The architecture of the cloister, archeological finds and evidence of everday domestic life in a very unconventional residential neighbourhood vividly illustrate the monastery’s eventful history.

A film tells about living in the old monastery today.

You can visit the cloister as part of a Guided Tour.
